I just took a nine-day trip to Las Vegas with my girlfriend, and I ended up learning a lot more than I thought I would. Here are some of the things I did in the City That Never Sleeps.
Checked in at the Stratosphere.
Played slot machines for the first time ever.
Got seven "quick hits" simultaneously in QuickHits.
Introduced girlfriend to carne asada tacos.
Gazed down on the city from about 1000 feet.
Rode the Insanity thrill ride on top of the Stratosphere.
Then rode the X-Scream thrill ride (not front seat).
Then rode the Big Shot thrill ride.
Then the X-Scream again (front seat, matters a lot).
Then the Big Shot two more times!
Drank beer openly while walking the strip.
Ate at the Stratosphere buffet.
Ate at a very authentic, little-known Thai restaurant.
Checked in at Paris, Las Vegas.
Took pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower, LV.
Wandered up and down the central Strip.
Jaywalked across Las Vegas Blvd. Repeatedly.
Saw the fountain show at the Bellagio. Repeatedly.
Made fajitas at a cool Mex place, Planet Hollywood.
Watched lots of small bands while sipping beer.
Ran into Captain Jack Sparrow (an impersonator).
Drank Japanese Sapporo from a convenience store.
Stole a whole pack of hooker cards from one of those guys.
Saw some mimes who looked like golden statues.
Checked in at the Monte Carlo.
Stole some roses which were decorating Monte Carlo.
Pigged out at the Monte Carlo buffet.
Saw the lion exhibit at the MGM Grand.
Wandered around the giant MGM Grand for hours.
Saw the Treasure Island pirate-ship battle.
Saw "Le RĂªve", a totally awesome show at the Wynn.
Drank about a million liters of frozen margarita.
Got trapped in the crappiest casino in the world.
Took the awesome roller coaster ride at New York Casino.
Explored some back alleys.
Found a cool secret area.
Ate sushi and unagi-don at a fancy Japanese place.
Drank umeshu, Japanese plum wine. Incredible!
Drank ichinokura and kubota-senju, awesome sake.
Almost got arrested at the Tropicana.
Checked in at the Luxor.
Climbed over some fences.
Took a grueling trek on foot to Inn-N-Out Burger.
Ate two double-doubles and fries at Inn-N-Out.
Agreed that Inn-N-Out is the best restaurant ever.
Experienced some rare Nevada desert rain.
Rode the Las Vegas Monorail.
Got $1 coins as change from the monorail ticket machine.
Watched some free opera at the Venetian.
Saw the Blue Man show at the Venetian.
Took pictures with the Blue Men and their bandmembers.
Four course meal at a ridiculously fancy Italian place.
GF introduced me to her fav wine, Brunello di Montalcino.
Improvised a new type of dance involving bananas.
Walked to the Atomic Testing Museum.
Sat through the nuclear detonation simulation.
Took a quick look at the UNLV.
Did an off-strip "cheap restaurant hashigo".
Went to the Japanese place *again*. It was that good.
Talked in Japanese with the lead sushi guy.
Saw multiple Elvis impersonators.
Lost $40 at the MGM Grand "Wheel of Fortune".
15 minutes in an oxygen bar. GF did the aqua massage.
Drank even more frozen margaritas.
Cheered by random passersby for being the cutest couple.
Snuck into the Luxor buffet after hours.
Won at slot machines, repeatedly. Lost, repeatedly.
Finally went to the airport in a sleep-deprived stupor :)

Sounds like you had a load of fun and expanded your reality :)
How did you almost get arrested? My wife and I just got back from a Travel Convention in Las Vegas at Caesar's Palace and we stayed one night at the Tropicana for "old times' sake."
